Titanium Tube / Pipe

Ylasting Titanium produces seamless and welded titanium tube and pipe to ASTM B338 (heat exchanger tube), ASTM B861 (seamless pipe) and ASTM B862 (welded pipe). Available in Gr1, Gr2, Gr5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Gr7, Gr9, Gr12 and Gr23, with outer diameters from 6mm to 219mm and wall thicknesses from 0.5mm to 20mm.

Our titanium tubing is used in shell-and-tube heat exchangers, condensers, marine seawater systems, chemical processing, oil & gas and desalination plants — applications where corrosion resistance and longevity are critical. Seamless tubes are produced by extrusion and cold pilgering; welded tubes are manufactured from cold-rolled strip with automatic TIG welding and full weld inspection.

All tubing is hydrostatically tested and supplied with mill test certificates. Custom lengths, U-bends and finned tubes available on request.

What is the difference between seamless and welded titanium tube?

Seamless tube is extruded and cold-worked from solid billet, offering uniform structure for high-pressure applications. Welded tube is formed from strip and TIG-welded, providing lower cost and longer lengths for heat exchangers. Both are qualified under ASTM B338.

Do you supply titanium tube for heat exchangers?

Yes — heat exchanger tube is our core product. We supply Gr2 and Gr12 tube per ASTM B338 with strict OD and wall tolerance, eddy current tested, in lengths up to 12m.

Can you make U-bend titanium tubes?

Yes, we provide U-bend and hairpin tubes with bending per customer drawings, including stress-relieving and annealing after bending.

What is the minimum order for titanium pipe?

For stock grades and common sizes, we accept orders from 10kg. Alloy grades and special sizes may require higher minimums — contact us for details.
